When and how can we get started?

New projects typically begin 1-2 months from our initial consultation. To secure your spot, I'll need your signed proposal—this officially books your place in my project calendar. From there, we can immediately begin the paperwork and initial questionnaire, so when your official start date arrives, we can dive straight in. Larger engagements may require a Master Services Agreement (MSA) for added structure and clarity.

How long does a typical project take from start to finish?

Brand transformations typically unfold over 6-8 weeks, while website projects range from 6-12 weeks based on complexity and collaboration pace. Holiday periods may extend timelines slightly to maintain our quality standards.

How much collaboration do you expect from me?

Your involvement is strategic, not overwhelming. After our kickoff call and initial questionnaire, you'll provide feedback on design concepts and copy through our organized review process. I ask for 48-hour turnaround on feedback to keep projects moving smoothly. Think guided collaboration, not endless revisions.

Where are you based and how do we work together?

I'm a registered freelancer based in Italy, primarily serving clients across the US and Canada. Our collaboration is 100% remote using video calls, project management tools, and seamless communication platforms. I maintain US business hours availability to ensure smooth collaboration regardless of time zones.

What does our remote collaboration look like?

We'll connect through scheduled Zoom calls using my calendar link for strategy sessions and check-ins. Project communication flows through email, while feedback happens via Webvizio for visual elements and Google Docs or Dropbox for text content. I often create Loom walkthroughs to explain concepts and guide you through deliverables. Asana keeps our project timeline transparent and organized for both of us.

What website platform do you recommend?

All websites are built on Webflow for optimal performance, design flexibility, and ease of management. The intuitive editor allows you to update content effortlessly while maintaining professional design integrity—no technical expertise required.

Do you offer copywriting services?

I collaborate with Carolyn, an experienced Communications Strategist based in Canada. Her background spans a range of sectors, from natural resources to healthcare. She's often included in brand and website packages to ensure your messaging is as compelling as your design, delivering strategic copy that actually converts.

Do you provide training on managing my new website?

Absolutely. All packages include custom recorded video tutorials tailored to your specific website, giving you permanent access to step-by-step guidance. You'll also receive 20 days of post-launch support to ensure you're confident managing your new digital presence independently.

What happens if my project scope changes during development or after completion?

Changes during development require a separate scope of work (SOW) add-on, which will adjust both timeline and investment accordingly. For post-completion updates, we can create a Phase 2 agreement or a new SOW to handle your evolving needs. Please get in touch with me if the need arises.

How do payments work?

Two simple options: 50% deposit to secure your project start date, with the remaining 50% due two weeks before completion. For larger projects (3-6 months), we offer monthly payment plans with equal installments. All invoices are in USD with US bank transfer preferred. Custom payment arrangements are possible if needed.
